Champers has held two very very special nights - ‘A Night to Remember’@ Champers Bar, and - "And the Beat Goes On" @ Champers Bar 35 Years ago, a wine bar was born in a small town called Eastcote. In 1979 Gloria Gaynor spent 4 weeks at No.1 with- ‘I will Survive’. Champers Wine Bar did just that and survived the High Street scene for 35 years. In 2014 and still going strong, everyone at Champers decided to get it together and bring the Champers family back to celebrate and remember all the music, and those good times of the late 70’s & 80’s by having two huge parties. Champers also launched it’s brand new sound system. The first big party was a huge success, with a Marquee in the CHAMPERS SECRET GARDEN, the venue held almost 250 people. What an amazing 'Night to Remember' it was. Both nights were promoting the smooth Spanish temptation 'Golden Soul' drink, Licor 43 CELEBRATING 35 YEARS (PART ONE) 70’s & 80’s Soul, Funk & Disco, and featuring The Legendary Greg Edwards, and Jeff Young (Jazz FM) was held on Sat 29th Nov 2014 "And the Beat Goes On" @ Champers Bar CELEBRATING 35 YEARS (PART TWO) was held on Friday 9th January 2015 for those who were unable to make PART ONE. 70's & 80's Soul, Funk, Jazz plus a soulful blend of Soul, Jazz Funk, Rare Groove & Boogie from the past to the present day was played, with Point Blank FM's DJ Brett Steven (SOUL UNION) and supported by DJ Kev Klassic Jax ------------------------------------ PLEASE dont forget - Champers Bar is strictly over 21’s at all times and smart casual dress is required(no trainers/tracksuits/caps) - Dress Code for this event was 'Girls in Gold - Boys in Bold' 184 Field End Road, Eastcote, Middlesex - 020 8868 8506
